However, learning the stem words can be very helpful, especially if the other language is one that uses a similar one or derivation. I ran off the weekly lessons and put them in a binder for each teacher. As a follow-up, every nine weeks, I check with each teacher to make sure they are following the timeline and find out if they need any additional materials. Thus far, the program is going well and the teachers are reasonably close to the expected timeline.
Projects, such as this one, help make the learning processes more consistent in the school, which enhances movement from one grade level to another.
